This is the fic about the fic with the bloodstones "jetilove" was asking about on june 24th.

For those who can't place the fic reading Crazylizzie's summary. This is in short the "main" parts.

Draco and Hermione have a bond, due to "bloodstones" they used during the war. Now after the war Hermione is teaching at Hogwarts and when she can't deny the bond that exists any longer.


I am really happy this fic is back and hope that many more people will give it a try. It is really worth it.

I see what they're trying to do with the cover, adding a little bit of a modern twist to the Austen-esque cover, but I'm not sure it's really working out for them. The configuration of the title is more confusing than eye-catching, and the trees in the background just makes the whole thing look really busy. There's just too much going on, like someone got a little too ambitious and didn't know when to stop. Which is... oddly suiting to the book itself, although I'm sure it's not the impression the marketing people were aiming for.

But otherwise --> It’s not in any way, shape, or form unlikely for a character in a series to be gay even if they haven’t mentioned it or entered into a same-sex relationship in a novel/show/etc.. Yeah, that's kosher.

This one...I like her expression and its stark colors. At first she glances aside, then looks right at the viewer with a wary gaze. She's not aggressive, but she's not showing any weakness, either. I use her on a couple forums.

I wanted Leonardo at night, looking more like a ninja or assassin blending into the shadows. The manip came out pretty well, and the kanji along the side are just pretty decoration.

Violence has the potential to solve every problem. It's just a question of using enough force.

Most of my stories are slash, but I don't think that automatically makes them mature. No, I think the mature comes from two main sources. For one thing, I use a lot of violence in my fics. (see previous icon) And for another, mature readers means mature reviewers. A mature reviewer doesn't expect a writer to change on the reviewer's say-so. I'm just happy that as frightening as the HP fandom has been sometimes, I've never had a problem with it. It's awesome to see multiple POVs on one story, especially when they conflict. My Draco apparently varies from sympathetic to a viper in disguise, and it's total joy to see how the readers take him.

-- I first saw this picture as a poster, which I bought and have hanging on my wall. Later on, I found it on allposters.com, where I get a lot of my icon pics, and it makes a good icon after manipulating it a tad. The fishy had to be bumped up a bit. I liked its simplicity, the clear picture it makes, the Asian feel of it, and how calm it feels. Plus that kitty *could* snag that fish, but he just doesn't.

Internet overhaul wins approval

A complete overhaul of the way in which people navigate the internet has been given the go-ahead in Paris.

The net's regulator, Icann, voted unanimously to relax the strict rules on so-called "top-level" domain names, such as .com or .uk. The decision means that companies could turn brands into web addresses, while individuals could use their names. A second proposal, to introduce domain names written in Asian, Arabic or other scripts, was also approved.
